May the Best Performance win…..or not?

[survey] Thanks to Lordi, all eyes will be on Finland when the Eurovision community crowns their new king. Certainly being one of the most extraordinary winners in the history of the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC), Lordi’s victory has once again raised the question what it actually takes to win the contest. Does the best performance really win? Or simply the artist that draws the most attention?

To answer this and other questions, the online opinion portal demandi launches the “Eurovision Song Contest Survey 2007”. demandi invites all ESC fans to voice their opinion on some of the most controversial topics. Is the ESC ruined by ‘political voting’? Or is there no explicit ‘political voting’, because neighbourly voting is based on cultural similarities? And what would the fans like to see be reintroduced?

Moreover demandi asks all ESC fans to predict the outcome of this year’s contest.
