zurück zur FrageComments: Anything else you would like to add about Bond sound tracks?

Madonna's song was the worst ever
also "we have all the time in the world"
"1- OHMSS
2- Goldfinger
3- James Bond Theme"
The Bond themes are fantastic and really add to the enjoyment of the flims. Most of them I think compliment the particular film they accompany.
A lot of the songs have been great. It's hard to narrow down favorites.
"There all alwesome!!!
I Have James Bond Greatest hits album!!!"
I have always loved the themes. I think Chris Cornell's "You know My Name" is perfect for the young Bond.
Almost all are GREAT !
Most of them are brilliant, including 'You Know My Name', which I love.
Cornell did a great job with the new theme. Brings back memories of The Living Daylights.
The Scott Walker song "Only Myself To Blame" at the end of The World Is Not Enough and The Louis Armstrong "We Have All The Time in the World" are two of the greatest songs in all the Bond films, but aren't listed here.
What about the scores? - these are far more interesting than the songs
Runner's up - All Time High & For Your Eyes Only
All of them are good songs
"James Bond Theme by the John Barry Seven & Orchestra is by far superior to Monty Norman's version.
"
The Music again has been a Bond highlight, Shirley Bassey was and is the BEst, i personally would love to see her sing another Bond theme, The parody of Bond in the current Marks and Spencer adverts has her singing, and it well awesome
"very good selection of tracks throughout the bond films
the ones I picked are very good indeed
everyone will like them"
However, my favourite bond song is "We Have All the Time in the World" by Loius Armstrong in the film On her Majesty's Secret Service.
Tomorrow Never Dies comes a very close fourth- great soundtrack.
I hated Chris Cornell's theme at first, but it has grown on me. Not a classic though.
Die Another day was the worst song
i need more than 3 choices( carly simon/james bond theme/etc,etc )
Very hard to decide - could easily have picked 10 favourites
Yes i didn't rate the opening title of casion royale
I think a lot of these are not very good at all
"Shirley Bassey gave the theme song power glamour and even the scent of money, in diamond are forever, you could alm ost smell the aftershave, and touch the diamonds with that song.
Goldfinger, your could feel the coldness of the gold, in that song it was great"
Prefer my music more upbeat
Also like the song surrender from the closing credits of Tomorrow Never Dies. Would have prefered that as the main title song
You missed my favourite, "All the time in the World" by Louis Armstrong.
There was never a Monty Norman Orchestra; John Barry's orchestra played the Bond Theme.
I also love everything Shirley Bassey has done for Bond...and of course Goldfinger ;) I love all of the Bond themes (except for DAD), and am a big fan of 'You Know My Name.'zurück zur Frage
For the most part the theme songs of Bond films are memorable and hold up well to time.
The golden oldies are always better than the newbies.
A quality film composer should be hired for the series in order to bring back the class the Bond has been missing over the years. The new music seems to be dated the day the film is released. The music is a MAJOR character in these films and the casting of the composeer should not be rushed for the sake of saving a bit off the budget.
